Folder2Flash

Active Development

Auto-copies folders to USB drives on insert

About

Folder2Flash watches for USB drive insertions and automatically copies a configured set of folders to them. Plug in a drive, wait a few seconds, and your files are deployed — no manual dragging, no forgotten updates.

Designed for repetitive deployment workflows where the same payload needs to land on dozens of drives. Configure your source folders once, and Folder2Flash handles the rest. It detects new drives via udev events, mounts them, copies your files, and safely ejects.

Perfect for loading ClaudeStick USBs, distributing software packages, or deploying field kits. Pair it with Stampede for a complete clone-then-customize pipeline.

Features

  • Automatic USB drive detection and mounting via udev events
  • Configurable source folder list for consistent deployments
  • Safe eject after copy completion to prevent data corruption
  • Progress reporting with file count and size tracking
  • Pairs with Stampede for clone-then-customize workflows
